Ken Bozymowski (b. Mishawaka, Indiana), known on the street as Pierre, makes signs using found cardboard, which he uses to amuse and solicit.  He lives and works in Oakland California. Until recently he was on the missing persons list for over a decade, until family members discovered him and his art online through a YouTube video.

He calls himself an "early 21st century folk artist."

Before 1986, Pierre was part of the Baker Beach Burn Bums, the progenitor of Burning Man.  He carried the gasoline with Larry Harvey, a founder of Burning Man, during Solstice, to fuel a large fire on the beach.  This celebration of free thinkers, artists, and spirited people, evolved into Burning Man.
